DEMOLITION

demolition, controlled structure collapse, facade retention, petrochemical

Demolition is the removal of a structure and the clearance of its arisings by an environmentally secure method in order to provide for potential further development of the site.

Project management teams at Squibb Group are able to assess and determine the quickest, most economical and, of course, safest solution to clients demolition needs. We would consider the use of explosives, controlled collapse of structures, or simply the traditional method of removal. Some structures may require careful picking apart in order to preserve listed elements or to retain the facades. The same careful consideration will be given to city centre structures, airport terminals, petrochemical works, car manufacturing plants, or a single residential dwelling.

Whilst based in London and an approved contractor for many Local Authorities, including both the City of Westminster and the City of London, Squibb Group works nationally with, amongst others:

  • BRITISH AIRPORTS AUTHORITY
  • BRITISH GAS

  • GLAXOSMITHKLINE

In addition to the listed enterprises, Squibb Group work extensively with the major constructors, house builders, property and development companies.

CONCRETE CRUSHING

Squibb Group own modern tracked concrete crushing plant and using our own low loader transport are able to place these on any site. We can then crush the arising from demolition to any specification from a 75mm down material for piling platforms and site roads to an MOT Type 1 specification for adopted roads and hardstandings. Apart from satisfying the needs of the new construction this is also part of Squibb Group's commitment to recycling wherever possible.
