TOTTENHAM HALE - LONDON
The project involved the demolition of the GLS depot adjacent to Tottenham Hale station and had specific requirements for liaison with London Underground Limited and Network Rail. The brief included a Type 3 asbestos survey and subsequent removal of all contamination, treatment of numerous live services that crossed the site, soft stripping of several buildings and vermin extermination.
Demolition of mainly brick structures with some light steel buildings and the crushing of all arisings. Clearance of scrub vegetation including eradication of knotweed. Final site clearance included the removal of underground air raid shelters. The site was left clear to accommodate a new retail, leisure and residential complex.
