QUEEN MARY CAMPUS - WOODFORD
Working in conjunction with our retained structural engineers we produced a demolition method statement which made allowances for the proximity to the main A406 (North Circular) road.
The scheme called for the complete demolition of the former college campus which included three 16 storey tower blocks along with ancillary buildings. All ground slabs and foundations were removed and the arisings crushed for reuse in the future development.
Demolition was undertaken by floor by floor deconstruction and longreach excavators.
