Working in conjunction with our retained structural engineers we produced a demolition method statement making allowance for the retention of the façade to 37-41, which overlooks London Bridge. The temporary works design incorporated a steel structure to surround the tower crane providing a support for the lateral propping.

The works included the identification and removal of large quantities of asbestos, the complete demolition of no 36 and the sequential demolition of the interior structure to 37-41. All arisings were removed from site prior to a main contractor taking over the redevelopment.
